New Heights Community Support was founded by Lucas O. Moyer in October of 2013. Since then, New Heights Community Support has received licensing by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to provide Mental Health Services. The idea of improving the local community one person at a time triggered a coalition of lasting initiatives, which includes monthly community classes on various topics, community donations, and mental health skill-building services.
New Heights Community Support can best serve the community when every staff member adopts the same mission and values. Our mission is person-centered because each consumer presents different challenges. The values of New Heights Community Support unify our agency as one. The needs of our community can be achieved by the influence of one. Every moment constitutes opportunity for influence and development. Therefore, each moment, one at a time allows opportunity for growth. Any “one” can be the difference.
